This is exactly what is going on with my system as well. The Garmin Trainer works fine outside of FS9 and FSX. In regards to 'Version 9.0 or 9.1' I'm not sure what I have either.

How can I confirm my version? As to the Garmin in my new Dakota, I can get the unit to display, but it doesn't seem to load the nav data correctly. In other words the 'moving map' doesn't work. And its the old 430 not the new.which I understand I will need to change a file name in the gauge config folder in order to load up the new 430 waas version. I was hoping this was going to be a pay and play program!

I KNOW its going to be worth the work. Legacy Of Kain Soul Reaver 2 Full Version. I need to fly to Destin today so I hope we can get this sorted out!! (Walmart has a sale on flip flops down there.) See ya! I have similar problems, having purchased the WAAS 530 yesterday. I run Windows XP SP2. In FS9 (SP1 - a fresh install from my CDs, then updated to 9.1 - with CD4 in the CD-ROM drive), I see a black box where the 530 should be, as below. I do have a RXPGNS.INI file in the aircraft's folder, with the following text: [GNS530] Popup=15531 AutoPilotMode=2 Radios=1 LinkCdiKey=On AutoApproach=Off LinkToVor=On LcdStyle=Off AutoWidth=500 AutoHeight=360 Trainer= NoKeyClick=Off GndSpdFromDeltaLatLon=Off [GTX327] VFRCode=1200 [SETTINGS] Dimmer=Off SimpleMouse=Off [GNS430] AutoPilotMode=2 Radios=1 LinkCdiKey=On AutoApproach=Off LinkToVor=On LcdStyle=Off AutoWidth=500 AutoHeight=210 Trainer= NoKeyClick=Off GndSpdFromDeltaLatLon=Off In FSX (SP2) I see nothing at all in those aircraft in which I have configured the WAAS 530.

Config screens shown below: and And probably no point making an FSX screen shot - the only things visible are the normal aircraft panels - no RealityXP gauges at all. I hope it is a relatively simple thing to fix.?? I just don't know what to do next.

Any assistance that you can provide would be more than welcome. Hi again, As per your suggestion, I downloaded the WAAS 530 open beta and installed the DLLs. FSX is working OK now with the WAAS 530 - however I think the problem was that I had set the 3D panel as the default view. When I changed the default view to the 2D panel, the 530 and drop down both appear and work fine. So 1 problem fixed! FS9 is still a problem though.

To answer your questions; In the FS9/Gauges folder the gauges may have been missing - I actually only had one Reality file that I can see: rxpGNS.dll 5.12pm In the FSX/Gauges folder I also had rxpDrop.dll 1.42pm and rxpFLT.dll 5.49pm. So.I have copied these 2 other files to the FS9/Gauges folder and. The problem is still there - same black rectangle appears as per the screen shot above. I will try a reboot to see if that helps. Re your other question about the Garmin trainer. It is installed and runs outside of Flight Sim no problems at all.
